We are now looking for an experienced Configuration Manager for a technically advanced assignment with one of our clients in the defense industry. Here, you will play a central role in projects where structure, traceability, and quality are crucial for success.

About the assignment

As a Configuration Manager, you will be a key person in the development of complex hardware systems. You will be responsible for establishing, driving, and following up on configuration management throughout the project's lifecycle, from early bidding work to delivery and handover.

You will ensure that CM plans are clear, adhered to, and serve as a stable framework for project execution. The role involves close collaboration with project management, technical teams, and other key functions, where you contribute with structure, order, and a holistic perspective.

You will participate in change management forums, contribute to technical reviews, and report ongoing status to project and program management. Part of the assignment is also to contribute to the further development of working methods and practices within configuration management.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is accustomed to working according to established processes in complex project environments

• Has experience in creating, implementing, and following up on CM plans throughout the project lifecycle

• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

• Has a good understanding of structured documentation and quality-assured working methods

• Has solid experience in configuration management (CM) within hardware development.

Meritorious:

• Experience with the business system IFS or equivalent tools

You are structured, meticulous, and have a natural eye for detail. You thrive in a role where order and tidiness are central, but you are also comfortable working independently and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
